Current projectsWherever there’s a team, Reflection Consulting has a role.  Here are some of our current projects to illustrate how our work benefits our clients.

Strict confidentiality rules govern most of our work, so names and organisations are protected. We can assure you, however, that these are real projects with real people:

Professional Development for New Managers: a major national haulage firm has asked us to identify work strengths, training opportunities and development needs for their next generation of Managers. We will ensure that they use their skills effectively, build new skills in team management, and prove to be an asset to the company.

Influence and Negotiation for Auditors: working with a Local Authority Internal Audit Team, we have developed and delivered a course specific to professionals who need to match their communication skills with their head for figures.

Strong Business Foundations: A successful recruitment company, preparing to double in size within one year, employed our services to ensure that the existing team were strong, effective, happy and productive.

Building a Leadership Team: A City Council, experiencing change and all the pressures that go with it, has commissioned us to support the development of a high performance team at the top of the organisation.  The benefits of this will be felt across all the departments.

Managing Meetings: A regional agency that supports education wanted to improve the outcomes of meetings, without increasing the time spent in them. We developed a half-day workshop for the management team to build on the useful purposes of meetings and eliminate time-wasting.

Read our Top 10 Tips for advice on how to:

Better Recruitment & Selection: The Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (see testimonial) uses Reflection Consulting to get a better understanding of their second interview candidates.  This supports the interview process and provides more focused questions for the panel.

Effective Partnerships: Initially requested by Voluntary Action Westminster, this one-day workshop is now in demand across the public and voluntary sectors. It’s all about preparing for the benefits of partnership working, while avoiding the pitfalls.

Teamwork Troubleshooting: The owner of a small service-delivery business felt that he had invested enough in training for his team, but wasn’t seeing any improvements in productivity. Using our unique Teamwork MOT, we were able to identify the areas that were holding them back, without resorting to any more costly courses.

Managing through Change: Our MOT came in useful again for a small residential lettings firm, where frequent staff turnover had upset the equilibrium and impacted on productivity.  From this, we were able to suggest two cost-free changes to daily activities to improve collaboration.
