Teamwork MOT

I met Rosie through business networking and have been very impressed by her vast knowledge on the subject of teamwork and behaviour. We decided to do a Teamwork MOT as we wanted to face the challenge of the year ahead with a strong, focused team, and this was quick and to the point. Nobody’s time was wasted.

Rosie has been friendly, relaxed and efficient and our Teamwork MOT has given us clear, practical advice. I can now proceed without requiring any new equipment or skills and know exactly where to concentrate my efforts.

Amanda Howell, Managing Director, Sure 24.
Just to let you know we had a team meeting this morning at which I disclosed the findings of our Teamwork MOT. We discussed and agreed:
  • the team structure
  • roles of each individual
  • the vision for the team
  • what motivates / demotivates us
  • made a list of commitments to which we should all adhere to try to make all our working lives easier.
It was very well received and time will tell how the team works going forward.

Thanks for your help so far.

Will keep you posted.

Alison Timperley, Cooper Parry.

Professional Development for Auditors

As a team, we wanted to build our core skills in negotiating and influence and Rosie was recommended by our Training Team. Rosie’s training days have opened our eyes to dealing with different types of people, their mindset and communication styles, and how to get the best out of them.

The whole thing has been a great success and given everyone much to think about, both within the team and in its dealings with the outside world. I would heartily recommend the exercise to other teams. And it was good fun!

Steve Jones, Audit Manager, Leicester City Council.

Management Development

It is very important to our business to assess and develop employees, and ensure that we support our promising new managers into roles of greater responsibility. Working with Rosie was a financial decision; she was recommended from a trusted source and delivered exactly what we were looking for.

Rosie conducted Personal Profiles on all of our emerging managers, which has helped us ensure that training is targeted and relevant, and it has also shown each manager’s personal strengths and behavioural style.

It has helped that Rosie is consistent and impartial, not connected with our business and able to provide an independent view.

Team Development

A new team, comprising Directors from core functions across Nottingham City Council had a series of challenges on their hands. Time was of the essence and it was important that the team were able to juggle their various responsibilities and deliver their team goals in the most efficient and effective way possible.

Working with Reflection Consulting, both as individuals and as a team, we were able to focus on the strengths we brought to the team, the mix of personalities and experience, and how these could best be deployed. As a result of this work, we now have a clear sense of the team working together. We are developing new strategies and have a renewed sense of purpose.

Carole Mills-Evans, Deputy Chief Executive, Nottingham City Council.

Family Business

As an established business, with plans for significant growth in the coming years, we wanted to take some structured time out to ensure that our Management Team were informed and equipped to work to our best and deliver clear leadership to the rest of the business.

We worked with Reflection Consulting to identify our personal and team strengths, to discuss our future strategy and to agree key roles in its delivery.  As managers, we know each other very well, so it was helpful to bring in someone who was independent, impartial and unconnected with the business and its history.

It was excellent, we’ve already seen the impact of our renewed approach and the effect this has had on the factory floor.

Patience Atkinson, Managing Director, Amberol UK Ltd.

Event Facilitiation

Workshops worked really well. Small teams and fixed times kept us focussed and productive.

A very enjoyable day with a twist; Rosie was very enthusiastic and I particularly enjoyed the group activities.

Excellent theme and structure to the day.

Really good day, thanks very much.

Thought the Team Work session was excellent.

Thanks for a really good day.

One of the best team days yet.

The theme for the day was excellent, the pace was fine and time was kept.

A busy packed day with a lighthearted but professional approach.

I was surprised how much we got through in the afternoon in such a short period of time.

Most importantly, I liked the pace you set - it kept us awake and involved. I also liked the way in which you split us into small groups: this is where people can best give their ideas.

Rosie’s leadership was great – inspirational and thought-provoking. I thought the teamwork brainstorming was very good. Having an outside person controlling it made everyone join in and take more of an interest.
