The future success of your organisation is, (in part at least) down to the rising stars of today as they become the leaders of tomorrow.

It’s always exciting to discover a special spark within a member of staff that singles them out. It means that you can trust them to take on new responsibilities. They can be relied upon to be independent, effective and to use their own initiative. In time they could run teams, departments and who knows what else?

But how can you fast track them so that the promise they show today translates into real results? How can you keep them interested in staying within you rather than being tempted by a competitor? How can you be sure they develop the key skills that they need to turn into an all round star performer?

How much?

Initial registration is £249, followed by a monthly fee of £199 for a minimum commitment of 6 months. (all prices are subject to VAT).

Those already in a decision-making role may qualify for 50% management and leadership development funding. Talk to us to find out more.

If you are serious about:

Places are limited and competition is intense. Get your application form today and secure a place on the Rising Stars Management School.

Just remind me again why this is important?

  • 60% of the UK’s managers are “reluctant”: stressed, ineffective, over-promoted and under-skilled. Don’t let your Rising Stars become one of them.
  • Ambitious people are actively seeking new opportunities. Provide them in-house or lose them forever.
  • 2 hours once a month means your Rising Stars get meaningful, relevant training with minimum absence from the office. This is backed up by online challenges, updates and encouragement, accessible when it’s convenient for them.
  • Good managers are good for business.
  • Recruitment costs currently average £2,500-£7,500 per person (down from 3-8K in last year's survey - new results just out). Would you rather spend this in the hope you can replace good people, or £1,443 (+vat) to retain, develop and inspire the best?
  • Reflection Consulting Ltd offers the best in management training, with a proven track record of excellent results.

Introducing the Rising Stars Management School.

Combining years of training expertise and management know-how, this practical approach will deliver real results. It will demonstrate to your rising stars that you are taking their development seriously and dramatically reduce the chances of your most talented and able staff walking out the door.

Who is it for?

If you have staff with raw potential, but who need to develop their skills in handling people, including themselves, then the Rising Stars Management School could be the answer you’ve been looking for.

We’ll take the brightest business minds in the area and teach them real life skills that will make a remarkable difference to their ability to perform and to get the best out of others. In a peer to peer learning environment of no more than 15 people, a series of vital ‘no nonsense’ topics are covered.

Key topics will include:

  • How to build and motivate a team
  • Effective negotiation skills
  • The power of influence and its role within leadership
  • Predicting and managing behaviour
  • Dealing with difficult conversations
  • Powerful presentation skills
  • Team dynamics and how to harness them
  • Making meetings effective
  • How to delegate
  • Better performance management
  • Coaching and mentoring techniques
  • Goal setting and time management

Each of these vital management areas will be covered in monthly 2-hour intensive workshops: an opportunity for participants to tackle their own challenges, report back on progress against their goals, offer support and advice to each other, build on case studies and develop strong connections with their peers.

Throughout the month, participants will maintain contact through privileged access to a LinkedIn members group, where they will be able to share updates, read news and articles, prepare for future meetings and stay in touch.

After the initial 6-month commitment, participants will be given the option to continue their professional development with the group, with new subjects and the opportunity to tackle real issues affecting their performance.

We are looking for the region’s brightest stars: Participation is by application only.
